Hi, I’m Lisa, and welcome to Two Seven Eight Photography.

So here's a little bit about me and how Two Seven Eight began......

​

I've always loved taking photos and I have always been the dedicated phone photographer, snapping anything and everything I could. Then, about four years ago, I got my first proper camera as a gift (a joint present from my amazing mum and my fiancé) - a camera I’ll be forever grateful for.

 

Suddenly, what had been a hobby turned into something much more exciting.​ I spent hours practising and experimenting, and before long I was photographing friends and family, capturing moments that made me realise how much I loved creating memories for others.

​

For two years, I ran free sessions alongside my full-time management job (in the dull and extremely draining corporate world), juggling evenings and weekends, shooting and editing, slowly building my skills and my confidence.  About 18 months in, with a lot of support and encouragement from those around me, I took the risk and went all in on my dream, opening my little studio and leaving the corporate life behind to focus on something that truly lights me up.

For me, photography isn’t just about taking pictures. It’s about capturing real moments, memories that make you smile for years to come. I like sessions to feel relaxed and fun, whether in the studio or out on location.

​

I shoot a bit of everything - portraits, pets, family sessions, weddings, creative shoots, events, festivals, and professional branding and honesty I absolutely love it all.

Following this dream has been the best decision I’ve ever made. I feel so lucky to do work I love, and I’d be thrilled to capture your story too.
